Experiencing a need for palliative care can be overwhelming and stressful. While the decisions to be made and symptoms experienced by people with different diseases are often similar, this is not always true. The course of illness can be very different. You may have a lot of time or very little. You may need more medications or less. Having resources that consider your life-limiting condition or associated conditions can help.
