Dementia Australia has launched a dedicated online hub for members of the LGBT+ community impacted by dementia, as well as their families and carers.
They partnered with ACON, with support from the Victorian Government, to create a new hub with links, resources, information and support dedicated to members of the LGBT+ community impacted by dementia.

PCC was funded as a pilot by the Commonwealth Government and delivered by SA Health in collaboration with community organisations in South Australia. Between October 2023 and February 2026, PCC navigation services supported 2,023 people. As the pilot phase concludes, the suite of PCC services will be streamlined, with the PCC Statewide Navigation Service continuing to provide information and support to anyone living in South Australia. Clinical governance establishes the conditions for high-quality care. It builds an environment and culture where everyone in a health service works together and with patients and consumers to deliver high-quality care. The Australian Commission for Safety and Quality in Health Care has released the 2026 National Model for Clinical Governance. Health services can use the guide to review their organisation’s clinical governance arrangements, identify gaps, develop an implementation plan, and monitor delivery of high-quality care.
